NoSiDES NEWS 2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003 [August 26th, 2005] Part 1 - Finally... the first No Sides update for 2005! No Sides CEO Billy Sides has bound for college this past spring and is currently busy with school. He has, however, finished his solo album of music created with Paul Slocum's Atari Synthcart program, a homebrewed cartridge that basically turns your Atari 2600 or 7800 into a mini-Akai. The album is going to be called "All Aboard For Mrs. Rifkind's House" and should drop in late October or very early November. We'll get an MP3 up sometime soon. Billy is gearing up to start playing gigs at this point so we'll see how his new career as a self-proclaimed "Atari DJ" works out. ROYAL SPACE FORCE reunited briefly to join THE MINIBOSSES and a band called BEST FWENDS played together as a mini-VGM EXPO at the South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX back in March. We were very pleased to have orchestrated the event and are very grateful to Craig at SXSW who, in his grand wisdom, made it all come together. Sadly, no one from No Sides could make it down to attend but we heard it was an excellent time.
